A hands-on number line made from natural wood, handcrafted here in the Peak District.
Each set features log slices numbered 0–11, freshly sawn from responsibly sourced wood. The numbers are attached using a hook and eye system, making them fully removable — perfect for open-ended maths activities, ordering, counting, and developing fine motor skills.
No two sets are identical. Each log slice is unique in shape and character, which is part of what makes them special. Please note the slices may differ slightly from those pictured, but will be similar in size and style.
A note on natural wood:
As a natural material, log slices may have slight imperfections, loose bark, or minor splitting over time — this is completely normal and adds to their rustic charm. To keep them in the best condition, store in a cool, well-ventilated spot away from direct sunlight. I use a variety of wood types; if you have a preference, please get in touch before ordering.
