My chunky ladybird log slices come as a set of 5, each one showing a different number of dots from 1 to 5 — making them a beautiful and tactile tool for early counting and number recognition.
Handcrafted in my Peak District studio, each slice is cut from real wood and painted with bold ladybird colours. At approximately 12cm, they're a satisfying size for little hands — perfect for play trays, nature tables, and open-ended learning.
As with all natural wood, each slice has its own unique grain and character — that's what makes them special.
